In late 2002, we celebrated a big win at a local Ottawa pub called Father and Sons. A few cold ones later, and inspired by the distinct lifestyle hockey players lived, we had the idea to make 24 hats with GONGSHOW hockey stitched on the front for our hockey buddies to rock around town. Word spread quickly through tight hockey circles about a brand that reflected what hockey players were all about. A movement was born and GONGSHOW, first of its kind, offered hockey players a way to express themselves, a brand to call it their own. Teamed up with roster of hockey players all around the world united through their love and passion for the game, GONGSHOW grew to become one of the most recognizable hockey lifestyle brand today.
